Poll: What was the final house placing of your 6-player GoT (2nd ed) game?
I've created this so we can use our combined play experiences to get a sense if there are still important game-end results based on houses, not just perceived differences, with this 2nd edition. There will be caveats as you may add/removed additions and ways of balancing the game, but hoping that limiting this to 6-player games only will help.
Thanks for your time!
What was the final house placing of your 6-player GoT (2nd ed) game?
  1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th
Baratheon
Greyjoy
Lannister
Martell
Stark
Tyrell

Luck in games, in measured doses, is the catalyst which enables shocking game-changers that you'll remember and talk about forever.

So I can only input the results of one game?

I'm not voting until I get a 6er game where every single player is experienced.

David, apparently you're correct. I can only edit my vote, not vote twice (which does allow folks to go back and fix their submission). I'll investigate other options, though I assumed it would be easier for players to recall just their most recent game.
Great to see the responses so far!

I thought Game of Thrones was "You win or you die".

Exactly!
We've never count who was 2nd, 3rd... They are all just LOOSERS!

Yes, I think that mentality improves the game as everyone wants to be the winner. There are no points for second place!!!

6/16/12:

We ended after 7 turns because of time limitation.

1. Greyjoy 6
2. Stark 5
3. Martell
3. Tyrell
5. Baratheon (noob)
5. Lannister (noob)

EDIT: I don't understand why the house totals don't equate? Shouldn't they have the same number of votes as this poll only refers to 6 player games?

If you want Kaleb, we could just post our sessions as we play them. You could tell us what format you want them in and make an excel spreadsheet to tabulate results. Or we could go less high tech and do a copy, update paste where every new post is an update with new totals.

6/24/12

Game went full 10 turns.

1. Tyrell
2. Stark
2. Martell
4. Greyjoy
5. Lannister
6. Barotheon

I can't add these to the poll because I already voted.

Tyrell and Stark got first and second by building up and striking late in the game. Tyrell was helped by barateon playing king maker.

When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die... second places don't count. If we construct a database of several hundred sessions, we will see which house is (if any is) easier to play even if we have only winners.

If one cannot vote multiple times in a poll, maybe something like this thread (from Chaos in the Old World forum) would be a good idea?

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/652947/accumulating-statisti...

Anyway, if we count only 6-player matches, my group played 7 times, with 2 Baratheon wins, 2 Tyrell, 2 Stark and 1 Greyjoy.

Martell was quite close a few times, but Lannister... if, during the final rounds, there is one House with no castles and one lonely Knight striving to survive - it's usually House Lannister.
