I'm happy to announce the public release of the Dungeon Scroll card game prototype. The Dungeon Scroll card game is based on the hit iPhone/Android game created by Seth A. Robinson.
We're looking for playtesters who have a group of at least 4 players and are willing to provide feedback after several tries.
=== Game Profile ===
Ages: 9 to Adult
Players: 2 - 6
Play Time: 20 - 40 Minutes
Genre: Casual Word Building
=== Game Synopsis ===
Dungeon Scroll is played over several challenges, with each card in the Dungeon Deck representing one challenge.
Each player will have a fixed amount of time to build the best word they can with their hand of Letter Cards. When time is up or when everyone has created a word, players total the damage caused by their word. The player who inflicts the most damage, following the rules of the challenge, wins.
Players will earn Wisdom Points from each challenge, and those Wisdom Points will be used in the final competition. Whoever wins the final competition wins the game.
=== Game Components ===
63 Letter Cards
23 Dungeon Cards
3 Curse Cards
1 Bonus Damage Reference Card
1 Set of Rules
1 Sand Timer (30 seconds)
=== About Testing ===
If you are interested in testing or reviewing, please send me a message and I'll provide a link to download the game contents. Testing the print-and-play version is easy - simply print the 10 page PDF on standard paper and insert the cards into card sleeves.
Note: Art has not been commissioned yet, so the game is still in wireframe format. As designs are finalized they will be made available to testers, though the wireframe format demands less ink.
All testers who provide constructive feedback will receive credit in the game rules plus a free copy of the manufactured game when it is printed.
