WotC's latest D&D "In the Works" article (http://wizards.com/dnd/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4pr/201202) has a section on the game, including a clear picture of the game board, a PDF of the Rules Reference card, and a pic of the game in play.

It also mentions that they will release the rulebook on Feb. 20th.

Man, I am so excited to get my hands on this game. I've been thinking about it a lot since I got to play it at DDXP!

The rules reference shot is the back page of the Rulebook, not a rules summary card.

really looking forward to this! Not usually a big fan of WotC or D&D (that being said, liked playing Waterdeep modules in early 90's as I loved the setting) but a euro style game based on this setting... can't wait. will be visiting the website on feb 20th for the rules!

I think I once owned a huge multipart map of the city as a module for AD&D 2nd, could that be possible? Couldn't find it on RPGGeek...

Regardless, it's one of the major cities in the Forgotten Realms setting, correct?

Correct - I have that 2nd edition boxed set too. Was it this one:

?

Had tons of crazy little random encounters too ("Suspicious man with bag on shoulder"). I really need to clear out all those old unused boxed sets.

EDIT - found it on rpggeek:

Yes, that was it!

I think I only actually used it once or twice, but man, for a geek, that was one awesome set of maps!

Agreed!
Although I was a little overwhelmed by it all as a young lad. I think the only full adventure I ran actually using the maps was when the heroes invaded the keep on the hill.
Although those weird encounters got used in pretty much any city-based adventure. Halcyon days.
28 quid on Amazon you say? Hmm...
