Hello all,

Looking for a game featuring Native Americans. Great theme is important as well as scaleability. Hopefully not too long either.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

A Few Acres of Snow features Native Americans prominently, but it's a two player only game.

How about games which originated from Native Americans?

Zon Ahl and Hubbub spring to mind.

Aztecs, Incans and Mayans count? There are plenty of those.

Do you have to be able to pronounce it? Napenaltowaktsche is a miniatures game aimed at two players, but you could play teams. French & Indian War skirmish game.

I second Bison: Thunder on the Prairie, if you don't mind your native Americans being wooden cubes.

It has teepees too.

I think if you go the ancient Indians route, there are a lot more to choose from.

They list two games with Native Americans with a third one on the way.

Up the Creek is currently published as a card game but has been out for many years in different versions. Not strictly historically accurate.

If you like it light, there's a clever little card game called Up the Creek.

Edit: Oops, I see EYE of NiGHT beat me on that - I know it only by its German name which is "Ogallala" - in print and available from Amigo Spiel (at least, amazon.de lists it as "in stock").
