In Dice Tower's review, Tom Vasel mentions that there is a second edition coming out to address the short comings of this game (poorly written rulebook, etc.). Anyone hear anything about a possible release date?

EDIT: Clarifying my question

Walter has said that there is a rewrite of the rules going on. I'm not aware of a whole new edition of the game. My impression was that the rules would be available in some form to customers of the current edition. This doesn't preclude a new edition though.

Well that's good news. It looks like an interesting game that I would like to play but the gripes about unclear rules are deterring me from buying it.

I'll have the rules ready shortly. We went through them carefully and clarified a bunch of things.

This has been an education, to say the least.

Thanks Walter. I want to buy this game to play with my son who is a HUGE train buff. I grew up in CT so the town locations are not a problem for me but I didn't want to run into a rules issue while trying to play with him. He's only 8 so delays in checking and clarifying rules will put him off.

Sure enough. I completely understand.

The revised rules are in Mr. Tummelson's hands now - assuming he is OK with it, they'll be posted shortly here on BGG.
