This thread got brought up on the CatC board; but are hero cards considered player cards? There was some debate either way and an official answer was maybe the solution. Has there been one yet? I was specifically wondering as to whether Legolas' response could be used to place tokens on the Carrock.

I get why you might be confused by this, and I'm not sure that a hero is technically a "player card".

However, it doesn't matter in this case. The rules for Conflict at the Carrock explicitly state: "...players cannot select The Carrock as the target of any card effect..."
