Robert,

The attack of 1st Corps is my all-time favourite and I have even played it with 28mm miniatures using a scale of 20-1 on a 12' x 12' board using Republic to Empire. There's something almost heroic in the advance of the four divisions involved.

Right-hand 12' x 6' table showing La Haie Sainte

In fact, Bobby Lee liked it so much he tried it some fifty years later on the third day of Gettysburg... with even less success than d'Erlon.

Regards,

Jim
