Ramping up my reviewing.
Happily playing games for many, many years.
Full details in the Official Announcement.
Of particular note...
From July 1st, 2012, the following sets will no longer be Modern Age legal:
* Batman: Alpha
* Secret Invasion
* Arkham Asylum
* Hammer of Thor
* HeroClix Classics (all)
* The Brave and the Bold
* Blackest Night
* Jonah Hex
* Web of Spider-Man
All maps with the modern colour codes are legal, including Lord of the Rings, but not those from Star Trek: Tactics.
Star Trek: Tactics
Star Trek pieces aren't legal in either Golden or Modern Age. Lord of the Rings pieces are legal only in Golden Age.
There are a bunch of clarifications on Horde Tokens (from LOTR). Of note:
* Stacks count as a single character for all purposes, with point cost equal to the sum of all tokens in the stack.
* Stacks can't be carried
The Infinity Gauntlet is a new game element known as a Resource. You can only have one resource per game.
Lord of the Rings Epic Actions
A lot of them clarified to "up to" this many characters (some couldn't be used beforehand, like Frodo choosing exactly 10 adjacent characters in a 1000 point game).
Doesn't ignore terrain
has errata. (Once per turn for his Excessive Force power).
New Alternative Team Abilities
* The Hand
* Hulked Out Heroes
* Marvel Knights
* Savage Land
* Legion Lost
* Phantom Zone
* Justice League (Silver Age)
