Well, not really but it was interesting that a player (here Xxcha )who is 90% in BSG Games a Cylon was backstabing his alliance.

6 Player Game
Because it was our first game we didnt play with the betray cards
Playtime 3 1/2 hours

1. Turn was a Slaughter. All Players went to the Influendce Sectors and lost masses of troops.
2. Turn Hacan and Letnev went more for the strongholds and less for influence... well hacan didnĀ“t had any influence problems because of massive reinforcement deployment.
3. Turn realising that 2 players can finish the game by conquering 1 more Stronghold 4 players went against Hacan and Letnev to prevent a fast victory of both players.
4. Turn we had a cease fire. Fast 2 Powerblocks were formed. 1 Powerblock of 3 players controlling 4 fortresses (Hacan, Letnev, Lazax now called HLL) and the other 3 Players controlling the last fortress (Xxcha,Jolnar, Sol now called XJS).
5. Turn: Bloody XJS massacres with less troops larger forces of the HLL and managed to take controle of 3 fortresses. -here we asked ourself how 4 units +Leader can Manage to kill a 12 unit army + leader... strange battle system..
6. Turn HLL Managed to take back 2 Fortresses because of the ideal start Player position and 2 empty fortresses. The last Fortress of XJS was defended by Xxcha Troops. In this turn Lazaxx Forces landet in the last fortress of the XJS to finally win the game for the HLL.
Instead of Fighting the HLL, Xxcha moved out of the Fortress leaving it to Lazax and the HLL won without a fight.

HLL Won the game... but Xxcha disclose the secret why she moved out of the last fortress and let the game end...
She bet that Letnev win the game in the 6.th Round... so Xxcha alone won the game.

Nice turn and a lesson to no trust your alliance mates in this game.
A Great game with a uncommun battle system .
The Sol Offence and the Dreadnought fleet only had few to zero impact of the game

Finally i think that Rex is a good game. I dont know how the others feel about it but for me it was fun with few bitter moments (combat system)
Most Impressive is the Alliance mechanism.

Hacan and Lazax were money machines... they transfered massive amounts of incluence to letnev who was a great threat because of his traitor cards and his masses of strategic cards.
On the other Hand Jolnar and Xxcha is also a very impressive combination because it improves survivelablity of you leader or a hostile leader kill.
The Sol benefit to the alliance had no impact because there was only 1 sol offence card and Letnev cancelled the benefit with a strategy card.

Looking hopefully forward for a 2.nd game.

Oh, and we played the lazax reinforcement rule wrong.
Lazax can only recruit 1 mechanized unit / turn. In our game Lazax recruited all his mechs whenever he lost any.
