I have some great game ideas and need to communicate and exchange ideas with game players and find testimonials. Are there any card game clubs or gatherings can be found in Toronto?

Have you tried http://www.tabsonline.net/ ? There are get-togethers every 3 months and I have seen some card games being played there. Check out the forums and you will probably find someone with similar interests.

I'm a regular on the TABSonline.net boards. If you get an account to browse the forums, I made a post under the "Conventions and Gatherings" subforum that has all the organized game groups in the city and the nights and locations at which they play.

My wife and I haven't had that much fun gaming yet because these guys were just like us-they craved games. They learned Stone Age in like 8 minutes and taught my wife and I how to play Power Grid and 7 Wonders. It was amazing. That happened a week ago and we still are talking about it. As much as we love our friends who we game with, they just want to play Settlers, and they get bored way too easily. They hate Puerto Rico and for that I am sad because I could honestly play that all day and night. But now, it's this whole new world of people who already love games and just want people to play with!
