I'm looking for players who would be so kind as to review the fully laid-out Revised rules.
The goal is to avoid the kind of ambiguity that the original war rules showed.

Oh thank you for your help kiss

Please send me a e-mail to christophe@xenomorphe.ch. Only "Revised rules" in the subject would be perfect. Also check that you can get a 6 meg file, which is the size of the already-lightened PDF, plus the new Nation cards.

I am fulfilled with the revised rules. Most of them you'll already know if you've played the 502 rules, although Privateers are out (but more Pirates are in). The highlight is the revised Nation variant.
We've been playing tons of 2-players Nations games, and enjoyed them !
So it's now a 2 player games as well
Choose you nation well.
But I get carried away.. the goal here is to see the questions you ask and deduce from them if a re-wording, or more examples, are necessary.
Thanks again guys.thumbsup

Concentrate on this :

-war (this has to be settled)
-New Booming city rules (main change. Game-changing, in a good way. But is it bug-proofed ?)
-Nation variant (there should be no way to mis-interpret them)

Thanks

I always playing a game where the other three players all decided to start killing me off just because I was teaching the game and new the rules better. I was trying to stay a bit under the radar not get too many prestige. First turn I was getting unrest placed and I had to put a misson on second turn. They were using ambassador to elevate other players diplomacy just so they could attack me more. They were using traders and merchant to benefit eachtoher even though they had a trader that could have moved their goods that turn as well.

The goal was to have constant war on me. What happens if someone declares war on me and I have no navy just merchants or if I have no navy and merchants which ended up happening. If I can't roll dice can they still take a prestige.

Anyways it really took the fun out of the game that day

Not sure whether it's covered in the old or new rules (that I got from you):

- war:
E.g. Green wants to have a war with Red. They don't share a region. Green has 2 Navy, Red none. Can they have a war? If so, can Green destroy Red's merchant fleet without resistance (at least for an year)? If not, are Red's merchants more safe then without having any navy?

- booming cities:
Am I correct that booming cities aren't destroyed when the colony gets independent?

What happens with the BC marker, if the BC is destroyed after a pirate attack? Can a BC with value 1 be built again or do I have to build a higher BC than the previously destroyed one?

- Adjacent regions:
Are Arab and Ethiopia adjacent as well? At least not according to the new rule book. Can we patch such connections that are on the map, generally for other dubious regions as well?

-war: at least one year of war is resolved,so Green is entitled to a shot at Red's Merchant fleets.

-Booming in independent state: yes

-I need to clarify the BC destroyed by pirates question.

-Arabia and Ethiopia should are adjacent. I'll add them if they're not stated like so.

Just another one:

- Rebellion
After a rebellion (successful or unsuccessful shouldn't matter) should all unrest markers be removed or still remain on the board? If not, then unrest is a bit overpowered in my opinion.

In the meantime, do you advice to play the game with the original or the 502-rules? Or should I wait for the revised rules? I don't want to burn the game in my gaming groups as a bad one, because of rules in need of improvement.

I'm going to post the revised rules to make them available for everybody.
So if you did not get any answer to you e-mail, it means you're too late for feedback and you'll have to download them from BBG.
