Apologies if this is a really blindingly stupid question, but the rules state that:

"Closest: For card play, this means the proximity of an insurgent to an individual or team not belonging to the player drawing the card."

How does this work in solo play where there are no individuals or teams not belonging to me?

My best guess is that I am in some sense "being" the insurgent when I draw the card, so it just means closest to the deployed team. But it isn't what it says....

Cheers

Matt

I believe that wording is in there for multiplayer games. So during the draw phase of competitive games you aren't shooting @ your "own" team members.
I think your interpretation is correct though.
