I'm wondering if they did hide anything.

The only thing that I could possibly think of are the Great Persons:

Jim Henson & Jerry Garcia.

Considering many images were taken from the video games, there wasn't much room to put anything that amusing into the game.

Doesn't something generally have to be hidden to be considered an Easter egg? I don't see how Henson and Garcia would qualify.

Usually it is hidden. So if there was a picture and you look veeery close to the background and you would see Henson and Kermit...that would be considered an easter egg.
