I need some filler games. By filler, I mean short (30 or less preferred), easy-to-teach games that are plaid between games or waiting
.
I own:
- no thanks!
- 7 dragons

When asking "What would Jesus do?", remember that flipping over tables and using a whip are within the realm of possibilities.

IMO the best fillers are 1. For Sale 2. No Thanks! (which you already own) 3. That's Life! 4. Coloretto.

I hope this helps.

The Isle of Doctor Necreaux (a simple thematic co-operative push-your-luck game)
Jaipur (an interactive game for 2 players only)
Fluxx (simple, wacky game of changing rules)
For Sale (a simple auction, but deeper than most fillers)

Circus Flohcati is very popular in our game group, and Can't Stop is my favorite filler of all time (but can last longer than 30 min if 4+ people are playing). Bananagrams is also good for word-game buffs, but is best with fairly evenly matched players.

I don't know of any plaid filler games; the closest I can think of is Tiger Stripes, and it fits the bill, but it's really a children's game.

quarriors it is very fast some strategy and has the benefit of being able to introduce brand new gamers to some deck building concepts that can translate to the more serious deck building games like thunderstone or dominion

The game itself isn't important. Spending time intellectually jousting with likeminded folks is the real reason to game.

The Resistance is the best filler out there for a group of 5-10 people.

Some good suggestions here, +1 to Resistance and Coloretto.
I'll add in Sneaks and Snitches. A good bluffing game.

Tsuro

Scales really well, supports 2-8 players, super easy to learn, really nice board, short play time, zero language dependence.

I haven't played it yet, but these are the reasons I ordered it.

+1 for for sale, can't stop and hotel arosa

the resistance never manages to stay below 30 minutes in our group, but it's definitely a great game.

Our most liked fillers are a bit sillier ones:
- Pass the Bomb
- Ca$h 'n Gun$
- Loopin' Louie
