Gotta be obvious. I see staggered spaces right before finish line, that it? I thought Pole Position was inside.

Nope, you've got it. Those staggered spaces are the starting positions.

Never really thought about that, but I think they all do. If you've played the game, you'll know that you're most likely to take the longest route possible in a turn. (So your able to keep your speed up/stay in as high a gear as possible)

Because FDé/FD is not a racing simulation game that reflects real racing. It is just a racing game.

And sometimes in FDé/FD it is best to take the long way round in a corner to keep the speed high.
