Shame on me if the answer is near at hand, but I can't find it:

Using the "large group" cards it's possible for both sides to play a Morph... what happens next? A hilarious "pooting" sound? A stalemate? Or a cataclysmic Divide Space/Time By Zero Event* (remove all ships and the planet involved from the game)?

Thanks for your help.

*I vote this.

I don't understand what's so hard to figure out.

1. If the offense's card is a morph, look at the defense's card.
2. If the defense's card is a morph, look at the offense's card.
3. If the offense's card is a morph, look at the defense's card.
4. If the defense's card is a morph, look at the offense's card.
....

Sure it's repetitive. But it's not hard or anything. C'mon people.

(In all seriousness, I assume the tiebreakers come into play.)

No, David's answer is the correct one.

And so is mine, though it is slightly more tongue-in-cheek.

For reference, it's mentioned on the top left corner on page 11 of the base game's rulebook, just above "Resolution".

And yet no mention of the fact that the Morph is actually half of a Precursor doomsday weapon, and when activated it does the best it can with what it has to work with... but when it meets its complimentary node OH GLORY!

You sir, have earned yourself a lowly tag-along subscriber. Don't blame me, it was the advertising flyer.
