Hey all,

Just seeing if there's something like this out there. I want to put some Magic decks together that have a common theme and are balanced against each other. This is after collecting the Commander decks, playing them with friends, and having a lot of fun.

Now, I'm looking to put together 10 decks to rotate through, each one representing a guild from the Ravnica block. It seems to fit the bill the best, and from what I can tell, it's one of the most beloved sets. Is there a list anywhere out there of a deck for each guild that's balanced against the rest, or at least relatively so?

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any lists, but I'd just buy the old Ravnica Theme Decks. Theme Decks were like what are now Intro Decks, but without the booster and typically with slightly tighter thematic unity. You can usually still find them on eBay for reasonable prices. I haven't played mine in a long time, but I recall the 4 original Ravnica ones being reasonably fun and balanced (I haven't played the GPT/DIS ones). They're not as fun as the Commander precons are, but Commander was a pretty exceptional design by Wizards, and those decks were a lot more expensive than the Theme Decks would be. And, of course, you could easily throw a few more rares and good cards into the Theme Decks as well.

Don't forget that you can search up the deck lists of all the theme decks online and build things like them from those lists.

This is a good idea for a project.  Ravnica covered all pairs of colors;

Red and White - Charge of the Boros
Red and Green - Gruul Wilding
Black and Blue - Dimir Intrigues
Black and Red - Rakdos Bloodsport
White and Green - Selesnya United
White and Black - Code of the Orzhov
White and Blue - Azorius Ascendant
Green and Black - Golgari Deathcreep
Green and Blue - Simic Mutology
Blue and Red - Izzet Gizmometry

A deck from each Ravnica guild is an excellent idea. Plus, you're guaranteed a whole slew of new goodies come fall when we Return to Ravnica!

Good idea.

Ravnica Theme Decks (x4):

Guildpact Theme Decks (x3):

Dissension Theme Decks (x3):

Star City Games, and TCGPlayer.com both have bulk inputting mechanisms for purchasing all of the cards from a given list.
Sometimes it's actually cheaper finding the theme decks themselves, but usually you can save a good bit buying the individual cards.
