Is it sane to consider this also for solo play?

If you have the time I think it would be fine. It is chit drawn activation and I have had good luck soloing those types of games.

I would agree. Between the chit-draw activation and the non-active player not having much in the way of decisions to make this should work just fine solo. I'm basing this on my solo experience playing The Devil's Cauldron, but I imagine this should play similarly well solo.

I have no idea where to post this question, please forgive me.
My question is:
Which of these activities can I spend a command point to ensure success?
-Moving out of a Heavy Barrage
-Move by Prolonge
-Radio Contact
-Convert an ‘S?’ to a No Effect
-* Movement Point Units Trying to Move
Thanks, Derek.

Hi Derek,

Let's start by looking at the Glossary (always a good place if you're stuck on game concepts).

29.13 says command points can be used "to allow a Unit to automatically pass certain Troop Quality Checks, but not for Bravery Checks, Engineer
Actions and Opportunity Fire (and others defined by the exclusive rules)."

So my take would be:
Yes to move out of a Heavy Barrage (after paying 2MP and taking your cohesion hit of course)
Yes to retire by Prolonge (which I think is the same as your last example - these are the units with * movement allowance)
No to Radio Contact (these aren't Troop Quality Checks)
Yes to convert S? to No Effect

Only last thing to remember is that you can only spend a Command Point to pass a TQC if your unit is In Command.

I've been playing TDC solo on VASSAL and it works great. It's a great way to really get a handle on the rules.
