Subject: Missile shot and fireball rss

They seems the same. In the fireball description the manual says:

A fireball shot functions identically to the missile shot, but the fireball piece is flicked instead.

Isn't the missile shot flicked also?

The difference is in the piece used.

Missile shot = small yellow piece.
Fireball = orange (stickered) piece (that is larger than the yellow piece).

Yep, it's the wording that's tripping you up. Put emphasis on the word "fireball" instead of the word "flicked."
