Welcome to Civilization PBF game #36!

This will be a Fame and Fortune with variants game with four players. The following introduction has been adapted from Peristarkawan, who also graciously provided me with the required files:

d10-1The game will utilize the alternative tiebreaker variant and several additional variants which are detailed below.

d10-2Orders, notifications and all other correspondence will be done via email. Therefore, I will need your email address when the game begins.

d10-3Play will be simultaneous on the first two turns.

d10-4Please plan to check in at least once a day. If you're going away and can't check in for a few days, please let me know ahead of time.

d10-5In deference to FFG, I will not be posting card text from the game.

d10-6In the interest of saving time, please make good use of mailing me Conditional Orders.

d10-7All table talk should be done in the thread.

List of variants
Quote:

1) This game will not utilize the Great Person deck nor Relics.

Again, no GP cards and no Relic tiles!

3) In case of a tie, Great Person steps on the Culture track will not be counted as points (therefore, a full Culture track will award you 17 points).
4) Metalcasting does not have a Coin; Railroad does have a Coin
5) Markets give +1 Trade

Well, three out of four have already responded positively, so the chances of the second alternate are quite low... Nonetheless, should my services be needed, I would be more than willing to fill the roll of fourth player with a random color and a random non-Greek civilization (as I've already played them in PBF).

I would like to play if there is no response from the fourth player - random civ and color are fine. Thanks!

A message to China: It seems that you need one more trade to acquire a second level tech. I could give you one trade this turn in exchange for a hut and the promise that if you get an "exchange of ideas" card you'll play it on Greece.
