I teach inner-city middle school in Baltimore, MD. We're about to start a unit on the Holocaust, but I'd like to give these kids some context about WWII. None of them have heard about the Holocaust, Hitler, or know hardly anything on WWII.
Does anyone know any history docs about WWII available on youtube that you think would be good?
Here are some guidelines:
*Should be no longer than 30 mins. (Or I can chunk it, and show the good parts)
*Docs having eye-popping graphics would be good, sort of like the Battle 360 series.
*Should be light on the graphic violence (i.e. no pictures of cut-up bodies, etc.)
Thanks for your help!
