When the ships move towards the wake during the lag movement, do they have to exit through the wake zone? OR do they exit at any place as long as they are in a Long Range Area? So, if a ship is in a 8 O'Clock position, does it exit at that point? OR would it move towards the Wake Area to exit?

Still reading the rules, but I like to clear things up as I read.

Is there an official FAQ?

It seems that during lag movement, ships/subs move closer to the Convoy Wake Area and may exit the map only when they have movement remaining after being in this area.

We don't stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing.

The MAY exit when they have mp left or they HAVE TO exit the tactical display?

After reading this part again (and again) in the rules, if your U-Boat is UNFIT then you must move the U-Boat to EXIT the tactical display as soon as possible. So, if you have enough movement Pts to move OFF the display and you are unfit, then you must move off (Pg 16). This does not mean you just remove the U-Boat from the display if you do not have enough movement. Remember that you can figure in Lag Movement as well to move off the display. You can also move off the display 'from any long range area' (Pg 15) so the U-Boat does not have to move off the display at the Wake area.
