Hi

Can anyone let me know what are the differences between the pre-publication V2 ruleset/scenario booklet and the published V2 ruleset/scenario booklet.

I have the pre-publication V2 ruleset/scenario booklet which I printed a while ago when they became available to upgrade my V1 edition of the game. However I note that is both an updated 'published' V2 ruleset/scenario booklet in the files section.

It would be really great of someone can highlight the differences as on a quick read they seem the same, and I got through a lot of printer ink printing the original!

Thanks

Jim

I think there was only one difference. Escaping me right now, but I think it had to do with France's victory conditions. Basically less than should have been less than or equal to, or something like that. Forum search is your friend.

Thanks Brad

There is a comment from BGG user Tsaar under the published rules:

'Are there many differences to the previously posted V2-rules, i.e. is it worth the effort to go to the printshop and make a new booklet? The only difference I discovered so far is in 6.2.1, where 'three minor countries' was replaced by 'one minor country'.

He's right to flag that one as a change, but there was no response to his general question regarding other changes (which is why I'm asking it again as a separate thread).

While there are V1/V2 comparison posts and files (I posted a graphic of the changed cards a few years back) and queries on intepreting individual rules, I don't think there any other posts comparing the two editions of the V2 rules/scenarion booklet.

Thanks Renaud (and again, Brad)

Sounds like all I need is a deft stroke of the pen rather than a full re-print - which helps a lot on printer ink!
