Okay...my 2nd (and last!) question re. the new designer's KS edition. Not much point in getting the game if the map won't fit on my table, SO how large WILL the map be? I'm sure there are different configurations. Can someone give me the smallest and largest dimensions that the map pieces included in the box will be?

(Pretty certain this ground has been covered somewhere, but I can't find it.) THANKS!

OGRE map is 17" x 21", according to the KS project home page.

Can you put 4 together for a 34x 41" board?

You would need to print out a strip of hexes to cover the borders of the map, I believe. Maybe 2 strips, depending on how much border there is.

True, but I believe the other four maps (the GEV and Shockwave maps) can be used together for a pretty big (or really long) map.

edit: the sell sheet gives the dimensions of these four maps as 28.2" x 32.4".

The map for the classic Ogre scenario is a stand-alone map, the other 4 can be combined for bigger scenarios.

Exactly.

These other four are approximately the size of Power Grid maps to give an idea of scale.

This is the final war!, you can't give up just because your table isn't big enough - get a bigger table, or take the garage door off its hangers and play on that.

This!

I already have the living room floor scoped out if I can't get the game to fit on my table.

I don't even know if I have the floor space to get all four maps down.

Most of us would have to move furniture, if even that would do it. I think I have to move a 150 gallon fish tank.

Four map scenarios will likely require two full-size folding tables. I think that happens in the driveway. I wonder what the windage is on a constructible Ogre.

Luckily few scenarios require four maps in a square. Two maps should fit on my dining room table, it's on the large side. Two maps gives a good game, you can do Breakthrough And Raid, mucho fun.

I do appreciate the humor! The reality is that we moved into a smaller house a couple of years back and space is a bit limited.

Thanks for all the help! Must measure that table now...

*Edit...if the info. provided here is correct, the game should easily fit on a couple of card tables I have. SWEET!*
