A game for russ to join if he would like to.

Edit: I wondered why nycavri misspelt it but assumed it was more likely to be correct.

OK, but only if you spell "ASCII" correctly with double "II" not single "I" in the subject, darn it.

Re: ASCI PBF LoA game - russ vs jugular

- I'm just wondering why you would use such a cumbersome
way to play. There are several sites where you can play
using a brower based or email based interface that generates
the diagrams and judges the moves.

I think we're kicking it back old school, or something like that.

I know, and I play at a number of them. *grin*

I am currently writing a review of LoA for the Voice of Experience review contest, and wanted to immerse myself somewhat. I regularly play online at SDG as well as face to face, and I came across the (admittedly old school) idea of playing by email. I started up an email game with a friend and thought, "Why not Play by Forum, too?" I very much enjoyed my first PBF game . . .

The biggest upside to PBF?

I don't have to leave BGG to do it!

LoA pbem isn't at LittleGolem and that's the only place I enjoy the interface enough to check it regularly (and even then I have issues with it). So it's got to be here!

Huh? Sure it is! I've played 14 games of LOA at littlegolem.

Given that LOA is playable at littlegolem, let me know if you want to continue this forum game (which I'm happy to do) or start a game at littlegolem (which I'm also happy to do).
