I have no idea what the Pirate Party in Germany is about...but as a gamer...this is the ultimate expansion for Die Macher!

Someone needs to start a zombie party and/or Ninja Party

... nor do they. Sorry for the bad pun - just couldn't resist it. The temptation was too great! Anyway, the pirate party isn't exactly a German invention, they've just recently enjoyed a surge in popularity and success there. They are still new and somewhat on the search to find themselves. Which is not easy considering that they attempt to stay away from standard party behaviour (thus profiting from the widespread dissatisfaction with traditional politics) and that one of there core principles is to try to include everyone in the decisionmaking through modern technology (internet & co). Which obviously has its drawbacks, too - therefore the common complaint launched against them that they are a wild bunch of newcomers who don't really know what they are doing and - as a party - have no clear goals. They appear to lean to the left, though.
