Subject: Are hallways a square? rss

Hello there and thanks for your help. I've read the rules and faq and I am still not clear on this one.

To me, the the 2 arrows turn into a full square tile and for range and LOS and movement are just another square tile for movement. Is this what the rules are saying?

The Hallways are the Arrows. There is no actual space between the squares that are seperated by the hallways. So to move from one tile to the next is just 1 unit of movement. It's tricky at first, but does that make sense?

So assuming the Xs are full normal squares and the >< are the arrows where meet and my hero is standing at Y square

Y,X,X >< X,X

Does it take my hero 4 or 5 movement to make it to the far X?

In your example it would take 4 movement.
