Does anyone have any concepts for an end game scoring (if after the final year arrives and no-one stands on the appropriate number of runes)
I understand the tie breaking rules, but I would to see a score tally in addition.
Im new to the game and I LOVE it! so before I make up my own, Id like to hear from some veterans.

I have several games under my belt and its hard for me to see a scoring method. Perhaps #areas you control, or by resources or by unit kills.

But that defeats the purpose of the games end goal, Runes. The purpose is not to get points but runes, if an alternate method of winning is introduced it breaks the urgency and need for runes to exist at all in a game called.. RUNE-WARS...

Thanx for the fast reply,
I should have made the question a little clearer,
If there is a TIE at the end of the game then a score tally would determine the victor, if still a tie then use the normal procedure for tie breaking.
In this case the main focus is still trying to win by controlling runes!

I'm not sure why you'd need to insert something between the rune count and the standard tie breakers. What is it about the built-in tiebreakers that you don't like?

Scoring is a Euro mechanic... There ain't no scoring in warfare!!!.. arrrh

For what it's worth, we rarely hit the "end of game" limit - in the vast majority of games someone wins outright about halfway through.
