EDIT: The winner has been picked. Go here to see who won!

I've been running it now for 6 years. While the original intent of the contest was to share the good fortune in my life, last year it took a 180 degree turn for the worse. Besides some major health issues in my families life, things are back to normal.

The rules are the same. In fact they are copied from last years ARK thread, and the previous one, and I'm sure all the ones back to the first:

Well, it's that time of year again. Someone is going to get a free game.

Here are the rules:

1. This is open to everyone worldwide. I hate contests that are only open to the US, especially ones only for the continental US.
2. Post the game, costing $30 or less, you would want me to send to you.
3. I will pay shipping for the game. This isn't included in the $30 for the game. So, if shipping is $20 to you, then I will spend $50.
4. Post by 3pm MST (-7 GMT) Saturday June 30th.
5. I will randomly pick a user and will send them their game.
6. Just remember to do something nice for someone in the future, even if you don't win.

I hope everyone has fun with this. I know I do. Others have suggested that I donate a game to a local charity. Trust me, I already do a lot things for my community.

If you are in a country other than the US, please post a link to a local game store/supplier that I will purchase the game from to save on shipping costs. But, if no local store is available, I'll just mail the game from the US. Again, someone, no matter where they are, has the chance to win a game.

NOTE: Remember that the game must be $30 or less. If you want a game that costs more than that, I will chip in $30, but I won't pay shipping. And the winner is randomly selected. I'm not choosing anyone. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator to make it fair for everyone.

PS. If you feel like donating games or also giving away a game, go right ahead. The more the merrier.

Well done, again. Others are more deserving than me, so I won't list a game, but you deserve the thanks, anyway.

This is a great idea...

If everyone that entered this also went out of their way to do even "one act of kindness" for someone else it would improve every ones day.

No game needed here...just applauding the idea.

If you were giving away a car I would list one. whistle

Wow, very generous.

A question though: what website should we use for price-reference? Or should we go for the suggested retail price?

Thanks!

Where ever you can find it. If you have a local retailer selling a game for cheap, the do that. But, if not, just find somewhere that has it below $30. For example, last years winner, found the game he wanted here in the US for less than what he could pay in Germany. So I ordered it here, and mailed it out to him.

Ok, then I'll go for the Lord of the Rings LCG core set, which is sold for $25.99 at Coolstuffinc.

Many thanks!

I LOVE random acts of kindness. I've been witnessing so much of this lately, and not just here. I will definitely pay it forward.

Survive: Escape from Atlantis! This is my choice and here is a link to a Canadian OLGS http://www.germangames.com/game.asp?gameID=2501

Thanks for doing this!

EDIT:Come to think of it, I'm a bit burnt out from learning new games lately (about 35 since Christmas), so I am going to sit this one out and increase other people's chances.

You are a prince of a man!

If I am selected than get me whatever game you want based on my wishlist or my ratings or your own whim. If you are not sure than Power Grid: First Sparks (but a surprise would be even groovier).

Again, this is super generious and awesome. Thanks!
