Do the Original Descent Dungeon Tiles fit together with the new ones? Looks like they would based on the pictures... but they appear to have a thicker border... anyone know?

The nda lifted thread shows a picture. They won't fit perfectly, but they are close and you could probably make connectors using 1e ones.

Second edition tiles are two-sided, which means that even if the puzzle pieces will fit together, it will work only for one side. I will be grateful just for this, although finding a way to fit them together with both sides of the second edition tiles would be great.

First edition dungeon tiles from Road to Legend and later are two-sided. Tomb of Ice, at least, includes some special connectors designed for linking areas using different sides.

Pasted from a similar thread for the Second Edition:

So yes, Second Edition pieces will fit together with original Descent pieces, but not perfectly. For your reference, the original thread can be found here.
