What the point to clean every 6sided tile from the main board at the start of every phase and place new ones.

Am I the only one who does not do this action? (What I do is just add tiles on the missing spots)

IMO it's a waste of time and there's no reason to do it: you don't know what the tiles are anyway, why not just add tiles to the missing spot?

Edit: I was playing with the tiles facedown that's why I asked this question. I will start doing the clean-up phase now with playing the right way! Oh well playing with the tiles facedown is a nice variant I guess, lol.

Do you put tiles face down or something?

Yes.

Was I playing wrong the whole time?

Yes, I'm afraid. Tiles are definitely face up.

Omg, this makes the game even better.

Do the black tiles are also face up?

I haven't played this yet, just got it reading the rules, aren't they placed face up on the board?

Gee, I was rechecking the rules to see if I had it wrong, all the other replies came in.

Just to be sure - tiles go face up on the board, while tile supply off the board is face down. Just look at the picture on the back of the box cool

That is an interesting variant. I feel like you would need more than 3 spots in your reserve, though.

Like this one, I guess...

You all mean you even play with the tiles face up on your player board? That will improve the game! I'll try that next time.

I actually played my first game with the black tiles face down, and after playing both ways, I feel it is a good variant. Adds some slot machine type thrill to drawing the tiles out of the middle. Less strategic, but more exciting. Plus, you can laugh at your opponent after they spend their money to pull a single sheep tile when all they have is cows. Ha!

Seriously though, playing with all tiles face down would make a decent kids' game.
