I have played 32 of the top 100 games and own just 22 of them.

My most played game in this list is sadly BANG!, with 48 plays. One I like better, Jungle Speed is right behind it with 47 plays.

To pull up the list of the top 100 party games:

I just had a look through the list. It seems the list is kinda plagued with a bunch of titles which aren't much different than another unfortunately.

I have played 33 of these.

Cheers,
Michael

It's always been funny to me how The Resistance has been rising the overall ranking of BGG (was #108 a year ago, now it's in the 80s) but it's stuck at #8 on the Party games list. The really funny thing is, it's not really a party game.

I've played a lot of these. I own a lot too. Some of my favorites are:

- Resistance (#1 game for me at the moment)
- Dixit
- Ultimate Werewolf
- Linq
- Beyond Balderdash (a classic for me)
- Pit
- Telestrations Against Humanity (Combine Telestrations with Cards Against Humanity)
- Liar's Dice
- Skull and Roses (basically the same as Liar's Dice)
- Train of Thought
- Geistesblitz

Some ones I like alright:
- Time's Up (I prefer everyone coming up with their own clues)
- Wits and Wagers
- Say Anything
- Pitchcar (like it while drunk)
- Cash n Guns
- Saboteur
- The Great Dalmuti
- Lifeboat
- Kakerlakenpoker
- Braggart

Dislikes:
- Jungle Speed
- Spot It!
- Apples to Apples
- Word on the Street
- Kakerlakensalat
- Bang! (so, so horrible)
- Red Dragon Inn (+ sequels)
- Castle of the Devil

Would like to try:
- Attribute
- Wise and Otherwise
- Infarkt
- The Big Idea
- Vegas
- Petits Meurtres & Faits Divers
- Cyrano

Should be on the list:
- Freeze

As was mentioned, there are a lot of duplications on the list. For instance, every Werewolf counts as the same game to me. Same for the Balderdashes and Dixit plus expansions.

Browsing down the list to count games I've played, I saw 55. Of course, of the top 100, there are probably only about 30 different games. :)

I've actually only played four games on the list: Bang!, Taboo, Apples to Apples, and Catch Phrase. I've also played PitchCar mini but not the original. I've been wanting to play Dixit, sounds fun. I'm surprised that Scattergories is not in the top 100.

I've played 66 of them.

But I was being generous in saying that I've played all the expansions of games that I play a lot, even though I have no idea which exact expansions I've actually played.

I count 11 I've played from that list - not a big fan of party games generally, although I think Dixit is awesome. I also really like Tumblin' Dice, but think of it as more of a dexterity game.

25. Eliminating duplications and ones that aren't actually party games and ones that are the same as games you don't have to buy in a box, that's well over half.

It's not a database of games, it's a database of products.

Not sure how to classify it, but I definitely pull it out in party game situations (5+ players). Easily one of my favorites.

I've played 3.

Telestrations
The Resistance
Say Anything (family)

With Ugg-Tect and Dixit on the way for Christmas.

Still, that is impressive. You've definitely got Party game cred.

I have played 22 of them, redundant titles included.

I feel there are so many party games out there that should be on this list. So many of these games do not even feel like party games to me. If I brought many of these titles out at a party they would be voted down and brought out at more of a casual game night.

I guess not everyone has the same definition of "party game".

Played 12, own a few more that I haven't played.

But the question is: why is Start Player on the list (twice)?
