So I just got my Noncom backers level game in the mail today and all I can say is that I regret making that decision. I should have upgraded to the officers level for all the extra maps and stuff. Seeing all the high quality goodies just filled me with an instant desire for more!

When do the other expansions go on sale again? Can it be soon? Please?

I believe Atlantikwall & Operation: Neptune will be in stores for Christmas. And Normandy in the Spring.

Are you sure you meant spring? Are you sure you didn't mean "right now!"?

Edit: That stamped folder in Atlantikwall was just pure genius. It really shows how much love and care went into this project.

Can't wait for the next round of stuff to be made (after all the current stuff). Always need for battlemaps! Legendary units and the Pacific are what I'm looking forward too.

That is Rik Falch's idea. And so are the dial cards and the unit markers.

One of the many reasons why I am very happy with Valley Games...

Why don't you just sell your noncom set on eBay and buy one of the full sets on sale there?

Instant gratification and problem solved.

It's not instant! I'd have to wait for it to ship!

I just finished my first solo game, 266 points on the first map.

Better than waiting all those long months to get all the really cool stuff us Lifers got.

Sometimes, I spread out all the extra maps and cards and special dice on my game table and giggle with glee for hours and hours.

The game itself isn't important. Spending time intellectually jousting with likeminded folks is the real reason to game.

It gets a LOT harder. Trust me. That first map is pure training.

I am well aware of that. The low defense values of the early sectors make it very easy to build up your forces. Still, I didn't think it was too bad of a score even with the training wheels.

As long as I can get the three expansions at some point, I'm happy with the stuff i got with non-comm. There's certainly enough game to last until I can get them retail.

Part of me is thinking that I wish I would have upped to another tier so I would get more, but I am gonna have a lot to play through as is. If I determine I need the expansions later, I can pick them up then.

I just got mine today at work, and I'm so excited about this! My big regret right now is that I didn't go for the L4L when I had the chance. Hopefully I can give it a shot this weekend!

I read this, then hovered my cursor over your wee flag: holy smokes! San Francisco!

But I'd just been in the mail room an hour ago... No D Day Dice. Ah heck, it's only a few doors down. A quick check won't hurt.

HOLY FREAKING CRAP, THERE IT IS!!!!!

Great to have it finally in hand.

They really did a nice job with all of the extra goodies. Easily the best looking and best produced game from Valley that I have seen. Now I just need to play it!

My copy showed up today. I haven't had much of a chance to look at it, beyond bringing the box inside before heading back to work, I'll have to check it out tonight.
