Hi All,
After my second failed attempt at becoming an online board game shop I've had a third and final idea and am looking for opinions from you like minded gamers.
I was thinking of doing an Open Costs/Profit idea, so for example my web site would show the actual wholesale cost, then the wholesale cost plus VAT and then wholesale cost plus vat plus 10% (my mark up). Eg.

If Say Castle Ravenloft (RRP 49.99) it would show,

RRP 49.99, Wholesale Cost £25.00, Cost plus VAT £30.00, Web Site Price £33.00.

Prices would always be excluding postage and the 10% markup would apply to everything (from 50p cards to £70 games), Also I was thinking of having "high spend" brackets, so if you spent more than £150 you'd get 9% markup, over £250 8% markup?

Is this a good revolutionary idea?, Would you buy from them (i.e. me?)

Paul..

I'd probably give it a go, if you were in Canada Seems like a reasonable idea.

That said, I know nothing about business but I like the "spend more, save more" idea.
