Well, well, well...

The 'upcoming' page on FFG's site has the little yellow boat icon on it.

That indicates that the printing is done and it is 'in transit'.

It's not a news article, but it's still news!

See this text? It's a gratuitous waste of GeekGold.

The game itself isn't important. Spending time intellectually jousting with likeminded folks is the real reason to game.

That would mean a full release pretty quickly after Gencon, and if it goes well they might have a metric ton of copies in Indianapolis.

It definitely changed today, too. I was checking these out yesterday and it said at the printer still. This means probably a release in September instead of the longer October date bounced around.

EDIT: Actually, could still be an early October release because I'm sure they will crack open some copies just to be sure everything is alright and then ship out, which isn't instantaneous.

I'm pretty sure there are quite a few people checking it daily. I know I have for a few weeks now.

Update page only seems to get changed on Fridays, so not every day.

More like every few hours.

Now if they'd hook us up with a few more previews... I don't necessarily care about the articles, but I'd love to see some runner cards and how they'll be factionally different.

Oh, the infamous FFG status of "on the boat."
Beware! That crazy boat takes some very circuitous routes sometimes.

Interestingly enough, I was recently told that FFG utilizes Cartamundi here in the U.S. for their card games. If this is true, I'm not sure where this boat is coming into play.....

lord knows i haunt ffg and this board all the time now, can't WAIT for this to come out. Fortunately, some of the people also skulking here seem to skulk on the CoC boards as well, so i have plenty of reading to do

"On a boat" might just be their generic term for "being shipped to us from the manufacturer", even if it's not on a ship from China.

If it WAS coming in from China, they've just been hit by a major typhoon. I don't know how that might effect shipping at this time, but I'd count on a delay...

I have some uncut sheets of a couple of their LCG expansions from last year and they are covered in Chinese markings so I'd say even if they are by Cartamundi it would have to be in a Chinese factory.

I know that the LCG cards are printed in China for all North american releases. Cartamundi is probably used for the cards for other games, or possibly for their print on demand or rush orders (this part is speculation).
