Has anyone tried using a 2 player variant with the team rule?

It seems really doable now.

I'm a little hesitant to try it because I think controlling two different cities and having two different hands might be a little overwhelming, but I think there is something here to finally have an acceptable 2 player variant.

Why not just corntol 2 citys and use one hand, just combine them. granted at the start you would have 14 cards in your hand but hay its all abuot choice.

You could even combine your citys so there are 6 stages of your wonder to build and not 2 lots of 3, this would mean playng 2 cards at the same time in to your combined city (ive started thinking to much).

I'm going to have a play test of what I'm thinking of and get back to you.

Yea, I was thinking maybe you have a hand of 14 cards and build twice.

But maybe it works better once?

Then what about resource trading?

Definitely test it out and let us know. I'm probably going to try it out too.

My wife and I played last night using 2 hands and 2 boards. It was not that hard to keep the hands organized. It was actually a lot of fun. We used conflict rules from Cities. We are going to play it again next with Leaders. Was way better than the 2 player variant from the rulebook.
