I dont really know much about this stuff but ran into this video on you tube where they show this Epawn interactive board game screen. I was wondering if anyone seen this at a show somewhere or might know if it might be multiplayer or just a interactive game board?
I thought it looked really cool, but they dont show you much. Like I said this is the first time seeing it,is there anything else out there like this?

hello,
saw that on several videos, it delivers a WiFi AP to connect Ipad/android tablets or phones (managing hands or personnal info) and some possibilities to connect to other ePawn over internet...

Infos in french on Tric-Trac :

ePawn seems to be really interesting & versatile compared to Heroclix app:
more than 20 inches screen
modified RFID with memory inside the pawns for detection & storage of info (character stats for example)
generating a WiFi to allow connections with phones or tablet (IOS & Android)

In the video link I posted before, they show a little toy car controlled by software (wireless of course) who follows a pawn... There's a whole new world of games to invent with that technology.

Getting older now, but this Sega arcade game was an interesting hybrid of real cards and video screen interacting.
