So my brother asked a rhetorical question the other day - why does a chapel give you either 1 dubloon or 1 VP?

Other buildings seem to have a significance and give a relevant benefit.

Any ideas?

If it was rhetorical your brother should know the answer.

It's an expansion building. They had to come up with something.

Me and my brother know the answers to all questions.

Q: "why does a chapel give you either 1 dubloon or 1 VP?"
A: "that's one my Brother knows. Ask him."

When a colonist works there, he collects donations.
When a noble works there, he boosts the morale of the residents.

Not necessarily - if it was rhetorical, it means that it was a question without an answer, smart @$$.

Wrong again. It means an answer isn't expected.

No, you're wrong again - make up your mind - you said he should know the answer, which is different than not expecting an answer.

You're arguing semantics anyway when my use of the word "rhetorical" was perfectly fine. Here's a rhetorical question for YOU: why do you choose to act like a jerk when I ask a simple question to stimulate conversation? Oh yes, must have something to prove to the BGG community.shake

This thread is devoid of humor.

Anyway, your question's answered so... go play Puerto Rico!
