Yeah, yeah, I know.
Sorry, I can't afford time or money for trip to Lancaster.

For those in same boat, I'm starting a new game with ACTS/CB. Players must be:
-Familiar with HIS/VQ system,
-Able to use ACTS/CB,
-Don't freak out about remote chance of auto-wins, and
-Capable of/interested in negotiation. No non-communicative turtlers, please.

Reply back or geek mail with top 4 power preferences.
I'm interested in playing Ottoman(well not really, but I haven't yet).

Ouch. Is that aimed at me? yuk

In my defense I am not the only one (in our game). The HRE is three keys away and in a good position to snag at least two of them from one card.

Sadly... I probably should not join another PBEM, but I feel your pain.

Not solely. Besides in that game I think HR does have a realistic shot at the auto-win. Ed has I think devilishly constructed this game so that some powers theoretically threaten auto-wins even early in the game. I think as the player base gains familiarity this threat will diminish. In the meantime, I tire of "the sky is falling" angle too often affecting the tenor of negotiation with the Chicken Little's of the world.
Now c'mon Steven, you KNOW you want to start another...

Gotta love Bentley "riding herd" His own words not mine.

Still a very good guy to play with in my short time since I started playing online.

Should I get in a fourth VQ game William? If you have problems finding a sixth, let me know and I'll play. Otherwise I'll give someone else a chance to "strap on a marbled pair of nads" and play.

So far we have 3 (4 in a pinch), and there are 3 spots remaining. Surely, I'm not the only one frustrated by the annual August slowdown from WBC and long vacations. If you take your gaming seriously, step up...

I'll play. No preference, except for fast-moving games (in the order of one move per day per power).
