End of ww2.

Early November, the first light snow has passed and the sky clears.

M. Wittman turns of the radio and look up at the clear sky.

Thinking back to the last delay action in Rumania, he still wake at night in horror by the sight of the massed T-34 that crushed his combat unit the 1.st SS armor corps. Even as the elite unit was destroyed the action did save Rumania from the red army as the front in the south east still runs just east of Bucharest and Ploesti.

The last 6 month was tested the crack GGR army to the limit and he also got word from Japan that the mighty Empire of the rising sun, was still standing strong.

USA landed in Formosa but the move was blocked by strong Japanese land forces sailing to Formosa too and the largest fleets in the world was massing in China Sea. No action was still to be heard of but if the fleets found each other it would be the greatest naval battle in history.

China was still in total Japanese hands and so was the Philippines, Japan also got the oil fields in NEI and the central port of Truk.

In Europe, the garrison of Paris was still holding out and so was Madrid but both was by now cut-off with no hope for any resupply.

The front in France was running along the neutral border of Belgium southeast to Switzerland and south of France along with northern Italy was packed with army forces from Italy that was trying to get back home to Yugoslavia.

The east front, running from Memel to Lvov had just almost completed a perfect withdraw from the bloody combats in USSR. The elite armor from army group south had escaped a near perfect trap and been shielded from the air by zerowaffe and blind USSR bombers.

In the first snow of November, the sky had been dark by allied bombers and M. Wittman had looked up at the sky with much fear as the sky cleared……

No allied bombers had come for a long time and now the radio broadcast was coming…..

Today, the 17 of November, the mighty Greater German Reich, the empire of Japan and the combined Free Italy and Yugoslavia has signed a peace in our time with the nations of USSR, USA, CW and France, along with all minor nations on all sides. The horrors of war are now behind us!

Japan will allow the mighty USSR to take all land hold by USSR by now and as a sight of good will return Mongolia to USSR. Japan will also grand USSR some land along with the city of Kashgar and Urumchi.

Japan will also leave the Philippines and NEI.
Siam will remain Japanese minor and Indo-china will join in the Japanese empire.

Marshall Islands will be given to the US and Japan will leave Dutch harbor.

All Japanese forces will return home from Africa.

USA and NEI will renew the trade with Japan.

In Eastern Europe, Germany will withdraw to the east border before the war with USSR started.

USSR will remain in Finland and Greece. Turkey will most likely join the growing USSR powerbase in south east Europe.

In Western Europe, CW will leave Denmark and Germany will leave Netherland.

France will return to power and the old France-German border restored.

All axis forces will leave Spain.

A voting in southern Italy will see if USA can build a new democracy in southern Italy, and the northern Italy will join with Yugoslavia and create a new nation in central Europe, along with Albania.

Germany will stop any submarine building and reduce the present fleet to 200 subs.

CW and USA will stop all bomber production and reduce the present bomber fleet to 5000 bombers.

Now the world is no longer in flames.

M. Wittman turn off the radio and walk out in the sun…..Another time, another war, he thinks as he looks to the newly build tigers and panthers in long lines.

All in all a great game and thanks to all players for keeping up with my bad humor and all the misunderstandings in playing I do......

I hope to be back with a new AAR, when I start my next game....

HI

Well, yes, given the lack of playing to the end, this position do allow the axis to look at the game and call it a victory

The allied would most likely not be able to take the axis untill the end and Japan was almost totaly safe (at least as safe as they ever can be in wif whistle )
