Let me disturb the hornets nest a bit: Why, oh why, couldn't Days Of Wonder have made their Memoir '44 dice like this? Love me some M44, but I've never gotten over the wooden dice... D-Day Dice did it right.

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Except for the fact that they are not engraved, I also love the Memoir '44 dice. The last dice often spins forever in a dramatic pause as you hope for just the right roll!

Yeah, they do tend to spin... I just wants me some good ol' Ameritrash plastic dice... Hint, hint to Days Of Wonder. After all, they sell replacement cards so why not replacement (plastic) dice?

Just play Memoir with the D-Day dice. Conversion is so straightforward:

1 soldier = infantry
2 soldier = infantry
wrench = armor
star = star
skull = grenade
medal = flag

Only the last one is a bit iffy but other than that, real straightforward.

Leacockzoo is referring to the dice that come with the game Memoir '44.

A while ago someone organized a group order of custom made Pickomino dice from Chessex to replace the wooden ones that come with the game. Perhaps someone could organize a similar order for custom Memoir '44 dice...

I was actually wondering if you enhanced the Memoir 44 dice, with a RWB combination, if you could make a mashup of both games, and how they would play.

Also, funny thing: for a while (before I went with Valley Games), Day of Wonder considered publishing D-Day Dice as "Memoir '44: The Dice Game".
