I'm working a time-travel game with a large number of events (which occurred to you in the past). I want all of them to be titled with time-related references or puns, and slightly obscure ones are preferred. For example, here are some that I already have (following the pattern "At age X, you..."):

...built a grandfather clock (double reference!)
...had a fairy tale wedding (happily every after)
...studied Australian tribal rituals (the 'dreamtime' is described as being outside of time)
...lead a protest about union overtime
...re-calibrated Big Ben
...stepped into the same river twice (Heraclitus talked about how you can't, since the river has changed)

Here are some others, based on social constructs about time:

...moved got Greenwich
...visited Nepal for 15 minutes (Nepal is a quarter-hour shifted time zone)
...circumnavigated the globe (thereby gaining or losing a day)
...spent a week in Samoa (an island right at the edge of the international date line)
...revoked daylight savings time

I have a separate place to mention paradoxes, so these should just be references to time, not mention of time-travel per se or references to particular sci-fi stories.

Please suggest more!

...spent a year in Tibet.
...designed your first flux capacitor.
...stole a Shelby Mustang in 60 seconds.
...bought a cuckoo clock in Midwich.
...heard a clock strike 13.
...found out what happened 28 days later.
...gave an armed man 20 seconds to comply.
...were visited by The Doctor for the first time.

Cool concept. I'm sure there are some clever ones out there.

... read A Brief History of Time in a single go.
... witnessed darkness jumping down the mountains and rushing across the valley in a total solar eclipse (true story and a nice experience. All the birds went silent for 5 minutes).
... put my hands on my hips and brought my knees in tight.
... watched the midnight sun in Rovaniemi.
... leaned the 'Three witches' tongue-twister.
... freaked out in the mall when they started playing Last Christmas in September (not a true story, but one I could empathize with if I ever heard it).
... made it to the front page of the New York Times.
... found out that Kronos is not the same guy as Chronos.

I'd appreciate the abolition of that anachronism. It always takes me a couple of seconds to figure out that in summer the sun is in the south at 10:56 (living 1° east of full 15° longitude).

In playtesting, this is by far the most popular event. A lot of gamers are very worked up about it.

How about "...were visited by The Doctor again for the first time."?

...went back to last Thursday night so I could pay my phone bill on time.
...became my own grandpa.
...killed Hitler.
...recited the contents of a phone message to my love interest as she listened to it.
...turned the Queen into a werewolf.
