Here I come with more information about the rules, tonight I may be able to see the first set of rules in French, after a week revision we will translate them, so in a few weeks they will be available for your all.

So how to fight ? Basically as soon as you move into a zone controlled by another player a battle begins.

Each player starts with 6 cards (all the same), which have 3 elements:
- Battle Points (Sword Symbol)
- Damage Points (Red Blood drop Symbol)
- Protection Points (Blue Shield Symbol)

Some cards are strong in one area and weak in others... you know the drill arrrh

Each player selects one of those secretly and if he likes can hide behind it one or several Divine Intervention Cards (about half of them are used in Battles).

Then... both players reveal ! Each players add his number of soldiers in the troop to the Battle points. Each player also adds their "Powers" bonuses (there are a few, not many). Each players adds the effect of the monsters which joined their troop.

Then the player with the highest battle points will win the battle. But careful it may be a Pyrrhic Victory. Because each players also removes as many soldiers as there are damage points from his opponent minus his own protection points, which means the "winner" may not be the survivor.

In most cases calculation is very simple because the numbers are rather small.

If a player attacked, won and survived, he gets a Permanent Victory point of the sweetest kind: BATTLE. Those will separate ties at the end of the game so they matter a lot.

Then players discard the battle card they played and also secretly choose another card to put into his discard pile. After the third battle, when all 6 cards are used, you get them all back in your hand.
It means you have some idea of what the others have but do not know for sure.

Divine Intervention cards are discarded to the commons discard pile.

That's all for now. It's hopefully clear enough but for sure the rule will clarify if I was too messy.

Have fun playing,
Arnaud.

We target Essen. But still a lot to do, so no promises.
