My copy of Drakon stinks a lot. Something between vomit and used toilet paper.
The problem is that even after years, it always stinks.
FFG aftersales says that all copy stinks so can't do anything.

Has anyone found a way to blew up this odour ?

Can someone scan all tiles in order to reimprint them on lesser paper but a paper that wouldn't stinks ?

Thanks, and sorry for my english, frenchie here.

I've heard of various treatments for games that came from smoking houses (I apologize that I don't remember what they were).

....or you can take up smoking

Mine smells of sulfur and burnt Amazons. I don't mind it at all.

Actually, I seem to remember mine having a little bit of a smell to it (haven't opened it in a while), but it was a relatively unoffensive smell of printing chemicals. I haven't been very worried about it. You might have a different edition than I do, though.

You could try baking soda.

It depends on whether the outside smells or the whole things smells.

This works, and it's thematic too:

Any car air freshener will do the trick though.

I just checked my copy which looks to be almost four years old. I didn't expect it to smell, but it still does. Not very STRONG of an odor, but definitely a BAD odor. Leaving things out in the sun tends to eliminate all kinds of fumes, but it can also bleach.

Leave the pieces laid out in a dry place for a while, like overnight a couple nights and it should be better after that.

I try a much of things, nothing really works

leaved open for a week. No changes. Except the room stinks too.

A Freshner. Now, the game stinks vomit AND articifial lemon. Horrible. Worst than the start.

bicarbonate. No use

Tried too "Styrax benzoin", a strange paper used oftenly for old books. No notable changes.

I Love that game but I hate cheese. :(

I have found that dryer sheets work well for stinky board games.

I'll have to try that. I have an old moldy bookstore smell in mine and the game has never seen mold anywhere.
