I have a braunschweiger(sp) on rye with swiss cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes and brown mustard. With carrots, celery and sweet pickles on the side.

I would have taken a pic but I ate it.

An ash I know, Yggdrasil its name. With water white is the great tree wet; thence come the dews that fall in the dales. Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.

ROFL, I love your last line.

That's a really ecclectic combination. How does the rye pair with the braunschweiger? They're both pretty bold tastes, so do they fight each other for control of your taste buds?

And THEN, banana peppers!

Wow. I doff my cap to you for sandwich creativity.

Rye goes with braunschweiger naturally. I've always had it that way, since I was a kid. I love the zing of the banana peppers and they go well with it (along with the brown mustard).

Basically, I'm replacing the onions that are standard with the peppers.

Um, that sounds disgusting.

I do have baconaise in the fridge at home, though. It's pretty good, but not great. baconbaconbacon of 5

I was really disappointed by Baconaise as a sandwich topping but it's great for dipping pizza crusts in!

Now I want a sandwich....

Eh? Tuna mayonnaise is just flaked tin tuna, drained of the oil/brine and mushed up with mayonnaise. Add some cucumber, onion or sweet corn if desired.
