Does anyone possibly have any Medusa or Shade miniatures they'd be willing to sell off? I've tried doing proxies, but I really like the design of both creatures from the original Tomb of Ice, so I'd like to find them without paying $100 for a copy of the original game.

Thank you!

There is a duck in every game. You may not see it, but it's there.

Tomb of ice is still MSRP at most stores. It's the easiest expansion to find.

My local shop doesn't have it, and the only ones I could find were on Amazon or Ebay for around $100. Besides, I have all of the heroes from Tomb of Ice, but I don't have the first edition game so the rest of the bits and pieces besides the monsters would be useless to me, and I'd rather not pay $60 for a few miniatures.

I'll piggyback on your thread so as not to clog up the forums, but maybe there should be a thread for this kind of thing in general:

I'm looking for Runewitch Astarra and the Deep Elves minis; I lost them a while back in the mail, sending them off for painting.

I got mine from Fair Play Games a week ago....but it seems like they're out of stock! (http://www.fairplaygames.com/gamedisplay.asp?gameid=5832)

You can look at the list of FLGS we have in board game geek, and just go down the list of all the FLGS in NA or Europe. That's what I did. I during my search, i did find several places with it in stock.

Also available in Canada here (http://www.boardgames.ca/descentboardgametomboficeexpansion....)

If you really want it, you can find it. Go and look up/phone all the FLGS you can find. Just googling it isn't going to work.

Barnes and Noble's online store had the game for 49.99 (plus tax) with free shipping if anyone's interested.

I had to swallow my pride and buy it since nobody seemed willing to part with their minis.

Reaper Miniatures has a Bones KS project. I'm linking to you pics of their medusa, Shiva, and Haunts mini's, which you can proxy for medusae and shades. They're part of the $100 pledge level, which will get you 130+ miniatures.

Medusa (4th row down) : http://www.reapermini.com/misc/KS_goal1_1.jpg

Shiva: http://www.reapermini.com/misc/KS_BedevilledReward.jpg

Shades: http://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/000/106/511/64ba6924dff9d...

KS project: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniat...

EDIT: Sorry for not getting this info to you sooner! The shiva was added just today. Hope you can cancel the order!
