We played with the new plants- removing on the indicated plants (used in some other variant)- and the Italy map. From what I could tell there are no suggested changes in this configuration. We had 6 players too and with Italy using the standard goods replenishment chart (right?) it was a huge dissappointment. Goods were falling out of our pockets they were so plentiful.

Anyone have the same experience or did we do it wrong?

Yup. The new plant deck is too efficient, and sometimes you are drowning in fuel.

Map for map, you are more likely to have a fuel surplus with the new deck.
