A quick note about the difference in components between two of the English language versions of Princess:

- the box has changed from the old-style generic Family Pastimes box with a pasted on picture for the cover, to the new-style glossy box;

- the game board has switched from a matte finish to a glossy finish with much brighter colors;

- the Night/Good Grief/Special Things cards/tokens have switched from thick, cardboard tiles with a matte finish to thin cards with a glossy finish & brighter colors;

- the rules changed from having everything jammed on the front side of one sheet, to being much more readable with better design and plenty of space on two sides of the same size sheet. The rules were also edited for clarity.

One annoying quirk about Family Pastimes is that they don't date their different editions with the date of the re-release; they continue to use the date of the original version.
