Thanks for your interest!
The game is not a cheap one, though. the suggested costumer price will be 59.90 Euro, at Essen we will sell it for 50 Euro. The production costs for the game are very high, especially for a small start up company like us.

But you will get a lot for your money: The heavy box contains over 300 wooden pieces, including over 120 buildings in 7 player colors. And the 14 different peoples/races (Dennis did an incredible design job) will allow you to replay the game like a zillion times
I myself played it over 100 times and never got bored...

and yes, pre-order to pick up at Essen is possible. but please make sure that you have it picked it up by saturday noon.

I'm afraid the "only" bonus will be the 10 Euro discount. Production timelines are very tight, the first half of the first edition will come out of production only one week before Essen. There is only a small chance that we can arrange something till then.

I don't mind, and I am hoping for a big expansion in 2013 instead! :-)

for those not at essen and not happen to live in germany you can place direct orders with me. but due to the heavy game box shipping costs could be fairly high.
or you wait if a retailer is found for your country.

Hi,

If ordering directly from the publisher, what will be the shipping cost to US/Canada?

Thanks,

It's expensive. I asked about a group order and this was the response I got...
nan3000 wrote:

yes, shipping more than one item will reduce the costs greatly. depending on the actual number, shipping goes down like:

1: 35 EURO
2: 17 EURO per item
3: 14 EURO per item
4: 11 EURO per item
8: 8 EURO per item

plus 50 EURO for the game itself...

Yes!

That was my intention just hadn't gotten around to it and was worried there wouldn't be enough interest.

I'm going to hold out for some rules before I invest in this one, but I MIGHT be interested in a group order.

Hmm 85 euro. I would be willing to order it if the rules make a good impression.

I'm a bit confused. You wrote 7 player colors, but I thought the game was for 2-5 players?

There are 14 playable races each of which is associated with one of seven landscapes (two races per landscape). Maybe the pieces are aligned with landscape type and thus there are seven colors despite only allowing for up to five players (and at most one of the two races aligned with each landscape can be played each game)? This is baseless conjecture but the numbers seem to work out.

Indeed. If you look at the images of the player boards that have been posted you'll see that each one is associated with a particular colour of buildings and priests.
