No-Ship trades are a great way to move around those bulky games you don't expect to play but wouldn't want to ship! And who doesn't want to start the convention off with a new-to-you game?

Here are the parameters:

#1 Use of the OLWG is required. If you have never used the OLWLG before, read up on it here: http://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/OLWLG

#2 The trade item list for this trade is here: CelestiCon 2012 No-Ship Math Trade!

#3 The Request List for this trade is here: CelestiCon 2012 No-Ship Math Trade Request List

#4 You can submit items up to 10:00 PM on Sunday, August 26.

#5 You can submit want lists up to 11:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29 Results should be up by 1:00 AM.

#6 This is a no-ship event, so you need to meet your trading partners at CelestiCon. The default meeting time will be 9:45 AM Saturday morning (since a lot of us have events starting at 10:00). You should send GeekMail to your trading partners and give them your mobile phone number to make sure you can connect. You are free to agree on a different time and place to meet, but see item #8.

#7 The default meeting location is near the black marble counter top in the foyer outside open gaming near the snack bar and gaming table F4.

#8 If you don't connect with your trading partners you can call them to make other arrangements, but don't expect people to answer GeekMail or email at the con unless they have explicitly indicated they can and will. If a handoff is not made because you weren't present at the default time and place or the alternate time and place you arranged with your trading partner, you are responsible for shipping costs, both for games you didn't pick up and games you didn't deliver.

#9 The con staff are very supportive of having a math trade at CelestiCon, but they aren't handling the games. They can direct you to the trade location, but don't ask them to hold or deliver your games.

#10 Please describe your items completely. Are they complete? Clean? English edition? Box intact?

#11 GeekGold, Gift Certificates, and tangentially related items are allowed, but let's try to limit ourselves to things gamers might actually want.

#12 OWLG Metric Used: USER-TRADING Seed=20129 Iterations=100

Twelve rules is enough, but number thirteen would have been a reminder to tip Jeffyjeff, creator of the OLWLG.

Addendum:

Two more details...

If you want to trade something that's not a game (or just not a game in the database) added it as "Outside the Scope of BGG", "Miscellaneous Game Merchandise" or "Miscellaneous Game Accessory". Include in the desctription test like "+altname+ brief description -altname-" so the OLWLG will name your item usefully.

Don't delete any entries. If you trade away something prematurely or don't want to trade something, just don't indicate in the OLWLG that you're willing to trade it for anything (ie, submit an empty want list).

If you link to a game in your description the OLWLG will think it's a sweetener, part of your offer. if that's what you want, do that. If you're simply *referring* to another game, you should name it without linking to it.

Don't delete "sweeteners", either.

If I add more than one detail should this be called "Addenda" instead of "Addendum"?
